It seemed to start like an average day. Mitsu was walking to school, one of the students who actually wasn't sick. The news just said it was just a minor bug going around was all, nothing serious. Maybe thats what they thought, maybe they knew what was going to happen. Who knows? the wheels were in motion, and the pandemic was about to start.
Mitsu always took a secluded route to school, and today was no different. This meant that he did not see any of the zombies walking around. The infection spread around quickly, but Mitsu didn't notice. But he sure did when he was nearing the high school. He was rushed by one and almost panicked once he saw the horrid face up close. Something just told him everyone around was like this. He shoved the zombie off and reached in his bag and pulled out a metal bat, one of the three he had.
He ran into the building, hitting a few zombies in the way. His mind was on Keira. He had to get to her to make sure she was safe. She was ALWAYS here at school at this time. He ran through the halls, surprisingly there were few zombies. Mitsu made his way to the class room he and most of his friends had, Keira had that class as well. Mitsu made sure to keep his bag with him. He thwacked a zombie in the head and opened the door to see his friend Kami smashing a zombie with a crowbar. Mitsu looked around frantically and Keira was nowhere in sight "Kami! Where is Keira!? We have to find her now! He rushed over to back him up so they could get out of there to find her. He knew Kami would help, he was Keira's brother after all.

Kami had shown up early that day. He hated being early because people seen him as a nerd or someone who simply likes school! Kami shivered as he looked over the small school grounds. Something didn't settle right with him. Lots of people were showing up now. A bug had been spreading and some students remained home. Good thing; he hated being sick.
Kami looked to see some of the students walking slowly towards the sound of the school bell. Kami went to his class to see Mitsu and Keria not there. But he knew that Keria had to check on some after school sports and athletic activities for her new 'boy toy'. He had seen Keria trust many people and get hurt many times and Kami was always there when she had trouble. True that those two had been going out for sometime. He guessed he'd give him a chance.
Kami watched as people who looked sick roamed the halls. Kami blinked questionably as some of them had bite marks and were bleeding. "...Did Halloween come and I not see it?" Kami said and went to his class.
Once there he saw lots of people in their desks. Suddenly an announcement came on. "ATTENTION STUDENTS! PLEASE REMAIN CALM! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! PLEASE EVACUATE THE SCHOOL IMMEDIATELY! I RE-" the principle said before the intercom went dead.
Silence hummed in the air as everyone looked at each other. Suddenly:"AH! GET BACK! GAH!!! iT HURTS!" was suddenly heard before a gurgling sound was heard. It remained silent now
Instantly everyone was in disarray and screaming. People shoved each other out of the way, throwing everyone around like rag dolls. Kami stood up before getting smashed into old lockers that were suppost to be removed months ago. Stupid school!
However after smashing into it it opened. Kami blinked and looked inside to see an old cold steel crowbar. "Who brings a crowbar to school?" Kami asked himself as he heard a groaning. Kami blinked as a few people came in. He watched as girls and boys were being bit and dying. "Whats going on?!" he said as one lunged to bite him. Kami growled and gripped the crowbar and bashed the hook into the guys skull
Blood splattered over the floor and walls. Kami quickly dislodged the crowbar and prepared for another swing as a baseball bat crunched into the skull of another.
All he heard afterwards was: "Where's Keria?! We have to find her now!"
Kami groaned and looked at Mitsu. "Jee, I'm ok and not bleeding or walking around with an urge to kill and eat human flesh. How are YOU?!" Kami said sarcastically.

Keira had walked to school peacefully and happily. With a skip in her step. Not even the pale and sickly people walking around town could bring her mood down. She was looking forward to going to kendo practice and then to go watch Mitsu at his baseball practice soon afterwards. Two of the things she loved the most. Her kendo and Mitsu.
She sighed happily and didn't notice the pale person try to take a bite of her neck as she passed. She flipped her hair which hit him in the face and she skipped away happily fantasizing about her man. Once she entered the dojo she noticed something weird. It was totally empty. Sure she was an hour earlier than most. But usually there were a few people from the kendo club there.
Keira tapped her chin. "Hmm... why isn't anyone here? Was kendo practice canceled today?" she asked herself. She grabbed her wooden sword, her bokuto and headed towards class. She was in the halls of the school building. She wasn't imagining a date with her boyfriend like she had previously done. Something was off.
She saw one of her fellow buddies from her club, Takao. She walked up to him cautiously. He had a bite mark on his neck that looked pretty bad and he was deathly pale. Was he sick? Most likely. But what was with the bite? Did he get bit by a dog earlier that morning? "Hey Takao? You okay?" she asked as she tapped his shoulder from behind.
He quickly turned around, his teeth aimed at her creamy white neck. Keira was lucky that she was used to dodging attacks in Kendo. Otherwise his teeth would have hit the mark. "Okay Takao! What the heck?! What's wrong with you?!" she was about to yell more but noticed the state of his eyes. Like dead fish eyes she had seen in the market. She gasped.
"W-wha?" she didn't have time to talk as her former teammate went to attack her again. Instead of fighting back Keira began running. She had to find Kami and Mitsu. She HAD to! Who knew what was going on with them. Were they dealing with the same thing? She ran towards their classroom.

"Chipper as ever I see, Kami. Well, I guess that means you are ok, doesn't it? I'm fine too, now lets get the hell out of here and find Keira. If she isn't here, she should be at the Kendo Club Dojo right? Let's get going!" Mitsu took his brave stand and was now fully determined so save as many people as possible, within reason.
Sadly for them, The dojo was on the other side of the whole damn school. Kami and Mitsu bashed a few zombies that made their way into the room and started running through. Thank god the zombies were slow and weak There were just so many damn zombies! It seemed like the whole school was infected, which made him worry if Keira was infected as well. But he kept his fate in her. She could handle herself well, the Kendo classes helped with that. Kami, well, he didn't know much about Kami strangely. He guessed he didn't approve of him dating his sister or something. Maybe that would change. They made each other happy and we actually getting serious. But Kami seemed to be able to handle himself, and if he got in trouble, Mitsu could always pull out a second bat and start a rampage. It shouldn't get to that though. These were highschool kids, so their bodies were still developing, still a bit weaker and adult bodies. In the distance there was still screaming from people all over, but all of them were too far to try to help. They had to get to Keira no matter what. If they couldn't survive this, then he wanted to at least die fighting along side Keira.
The screams were horrifying, and there was so much blood. And the smell...oh god the smell. The smell of rendered flesh and guts and blood burned in his nostrils and left a horrible taste in his mouth seemingly every time he breathed. He hoped that this stuff didn't spread through airborne pathogens. Lucky for them, it wasn't.
It took awhile to get even half way across the school. and now it seemed with every step and every swing was sucking out his strength. But Mitsu's adrenalin hadn't even kicked in, and Mitsu had plenty of energy. If he really needed to, he could go on like this for at least another hour or two. Why does this have to be so damn big of a school!? Mitsu just wanted to make sure Keira was safe at any cost. They just had to keep going. As Mitsu was running down a hall with Kami, Mitsu suddenly stopped, looking at a case. There was a fire ax inside. Mitsu ran over to it and swung hard, smashing the case and the glass. It DID say to break in case of emergencies. And if this wasn't one, then he didn't know what was. Mitsu knew he should save the ax, so he stuffed it in his bag and quickly caught up to Kami so they could continue on.

Kami was currently leading. He knew this school like his bedroom. He often snuck out of class to play games or do something more entertaining.
This seemed to be a bad zombie movie or game. The world was comig to the end and undead people getting changed and a team of survivors are out to save the world. This reminded him of Level 1 of Zombie Bashers. Starting with small melee objects and slowly getting more items that will help them defeat 'Them' faster and more efficiently.
But something didn't seem right. Kami stopped and waited for Mitsu. When he stopped Kami led him to a different part of the school. "Somethings not right about this. If 'They' were able to see us, don't you think they'd most likely attack more often?" Kami explained. "I want to try something." Kami said and grabbed a small shoe from a left over attack. He waited a few seconds before noticing a small horde of 'them' heading their way. Kami prayed he was right.
Kami walked toward the horde and stood in the center. Slowly, 'they' walked past him. One nearly walked into him but Kami moved. Kami smirked and threw the shoe far and hard in the direction the horde was heading. The shoe nailed a locker and a loud TWANK was heard. Instantly the horde charged at it and mauled the lockers. "I knew it! They react to sound!" Kami whispered to Mitsu as he signalled for him to follow.
"Just like in Zombie Bashers! The more we avoid them the more energy we have. Providing we don't make loud noises then they won't attack!" Kami explained. Slowly they seen a figure running towards them. Kami squinted to see who or if anything, what it was. "Keria?" Kami called quietly but loud enough for whoever or whatever to hear

Keira rushed down halls. People were being killed and bitten everywhere. It was horrible. A nightmare. She wanted to be done with it. She wanted to just break down and cry right then and there. But her legs and heart kept her going. Both out of fear for herself dying and fear for her loved ones.
"K-Keira help me!" a familiar voice screamed. Keira turned to see one of her best friends, Yuri, being surrounded by a horde of zombies. Without much thinking Keira rushed towards the group. She pulled out her bokuto from the fabric sheathe and began to bash the zombies bodies.
The first she bashed right in the neck. Snapping it and making it hang at a gut wrenching angle. The next zombie she hit in the stomach. Hoping to knock the wind out of him. It didn't do any good. So she kicked him in the gut making him hit the wall near the girl. The last zombie launched his teeth for Keira's face. She barely dodged and pushed him away with her left shoulder.
As the zombie went for another attack, Keira bashed it's head in from a vertical slash onto his head. She heard a scream from Yuri. She turned to see that the second zombie had buried his teeth in her arm. Screaming Keira whacked his head clean off of his head. There was a bloody spurt that got all over both girls.
Yuri was moaning on the floor. "Yuri!" Keira cried. She held the girls wounded arm in her lap and inspected it.
"Keira... ya gotta end it... I've seen what happens when they bite you..." Yuri said breathing heavily. She coughed up a bit of blood. "You turn into one of them... you... have to end my life...." Keira could see the fear in the girls eyes. But also the determination. Her eyes still shined with a bit of life.
"You'll be fine! I can find some antiseptic! We can even saw your arm off! Or something! We can save you!" she screamed, tears now streaming down her face. "I... refuse to hurt you, Yuri..."
"Then run.... leave me.... you're a coward..." Yuri coughed using the last of her strength to wrench her arm away.
Keira blinked in surprise. She didnt want to leave her. But what if Yuri tried to bite her? Then Keira would have to kill her wouldn't she? She couldn't do that. Keira stood up. Tears continued to run down her face. She took one more look at Yuri. Knowing this was the last time she would see the girl alive. Then she took off running back towards her classroom.
A little while later she heard her name called, "Keira?" She strained her eyes to see a boy with white hair and a boy with blue hair. Keira launched herself into Mitsu's arms and sobbed hard. She buried her face in his chest. Luckily the hall seemed to be deserted for the moment.
"Mitsu... Kami... I'm.... So glad you're both safe," she cried, her words were muffled due to her face being buried in Mitsu's chest.

Kami seemed to have a plan, so Mitsu stopped and watched. he picked up a random shoe and stood in front of a crowd of zombies. What are you, crazy!? Mitsu almost shouted. But the zombies didn't even seem to notice him! they just walked right by. Mitsu stood there almost dumbfounded by the event until Kami threw the shoe and made a loud noise. Mitsu backed away from the lockers more and listened to Kami whisper. It seemed to be true. More seemed to go near him after he whacked a zombie and the bat made the metal 'PING' noise.
Okay, so staying quiet seemed to be a good plan. This but Mitsu at a bit of ease. But then he heard Kami say Keira's name. Mitsu immediately turned his head in the direction and saw Keira down the hall. She must have heard him because she turned and then rushed over. Mitsu gladly opened his arms and hugged her as tight as he could. Finally he was reunited with her. He could keep her safe. "Keira! Oh my god I'm so glad you are safe! I don't know what I would have done if you had turned into one of those things! But...I had faith in you Keira, something told me you would be able to protect yourself. Now, Kami here just found out that These things react to sound way more than anything else. We can pretty much walk past them as long as we are quite and don't touch them. I think we should go back to the Dojo for now. It is closest to the city where we can get supplies, and the communications classroom is near it, and we can grab walkie talkies when we pass through. I'm just so glad you are safe Keira..." Mitsu was about ready to cry then and there, but he couldn't let his emotions get out of control. Keira was there with him now and he could keep her safe.
He thought he came up with a good plan and was ready to head out when they were. Mitsu was really glad he had his duffle bag with him. a mere 2 bats and a single ax wasn't enough to fill the thing. He could keep quite a few walkie talkies and battery packs with him. Suddenly though, the school lights flickered, then suddenly went out. But due to the multiple windows in the halls, the sunlight kept the lighting about the same. Little did they know, the power to the whole city was out. The power station was overtaken by the zombies. Mitsu stood waiting, his bat covered in blood, ready to leave once he was done comforting Keira. "Keira, I know some of these people were our friends, even close friends. But they aren't anymore. They...they would want us to end their lives, to end their suffering. And as their friends, we should give that to them. You have to be strong Keira, and not just for me and Kami, but for everyone else who may happen to survive. I mean, they couldn't have taken ALL of the high school, could they? I mean, we were able to handle ourselves, so others might be able to as well. So, we need to keep moving and get to that Dojo. I believe we can get through this. Even with just the three of us if we have to. So are you with my babe? Because I'm not leaving without you!"

Kami held out his arms to catch Keria, just to be rejected by his own sister for a guy. Kami grumbled and watched the two. It was cute and sickening all at the same time. But he figured that since they were only brother and sister by their parents marrying that she likely seen him as a friend or something.
Looking at that sight of those two sickened him. Was it the fact he hadn't found love yet? What the hell would he do with it anyways?! He felt happy that Keria was happy and he guessed that was fine.
Kami looked around, making sure no one was around. "We need to get out of here and get some light weight things. We can't carry alot without a vechile of some sort and right now we don't have one. We can't be out too late either. Power seems to have been cut for now. If we can get a motorbike then we can head to that old abandoned building for the night. Construction was there just a few months ago and they left everything. There is likely a small generator there incase of power outage. If we head over there we will be able to blockade ourselves in for the night and make food." Kami said in a quiet, yet knowledgeable tone. "After all thats what they do in the movies" Kami explained as he looked around, making sure no one was coming

Keira sobbed harder at Mitsu's words. She was so glad to be in his arms and safe. She felt so safe with him. She really didn't want to let go but she did anyway at his words. It made Keira feel better that he had faith in her. That he knew she would be okay.
Keira knew that Mitsu was right. They had to get moving. She needed to pull up her big girl panties and deal with things. To be strong for both Mitsu and Kami. Keira then squeaked when the lights went out. She scooted closer to Kami once they were all the way out. It was definitely a bit dimmer now. Keira remembered a time back when they were kids. That the power went out at her house. Kami had been there to comfort her. She quickly took his hand and held it for a moment.
Keira smiled and nodded at Mitsu's words. She wiped her eyes with one hand and said, "I'm definitely with you babe! I'll follow you both wherever we need to go. I just want the three of us to be safe."
Keira then blinked up at Kami. "Actually, you remember that old history teacher? Yomi-sensei? Well he has this old motorbike in the parking lot. And then there is a bullet bike too. The guy that owns it turned into a zombie a while ago." Keira was beginning to think clearly again. Now that panic for her loved ones wasn't there so much anymore.

Mitsu listened to their suggestions as well, and with all three of them combined, it seemed to be a good plan. 2 motorcycles, walkie talkies, and a place to stay with possible electricity and maye even heavy machinery? That seemed to be a hell of a good start for surviving. and construction sites are usually big, meaning they can hold a good number of people safe as long as no one does anything stupid.
"It looks like we have a plan then. But i think we should get the walkie talkies. I should be able to hold a good number in my bag here. Then maybe stop by the dojo and get a few more wooden swords? The dojo is next to the parking lots anyway, so we could get there faster through there, and like I said, the room with walkie talkies are nearby. I think we have a good plan then. Let's get going then!" Mitsu almost shouted out of his own assurance of himself and their plan. But Mitsu toned down his voice and kept quiet. He was ready to go if they were.
Once they were, they pretty much jogged. Sure, it was morning, but they needed to make sure things went their way. They needed to make sure they had enough of everything, and that there werent any zombies close enough to the motorcycles when they started them. If they truly did react to noise the most, then starting a motorcycle would call them over for sure.
First they went with his part of the plan and nabbed the walkie talkies. There were 10 talkies each with batteries, and then there were enough spare batteries for half of them. He was glad they were battery powered. if they were rechargeable, then if they went dead on the field they were screwed. They moved on, killing virtually no zombies. Mitsu held Keira's hand when they passed close to a dead body or zombie that looked like one of their friends. It hurt Mitsu to see them, knowing they were like this. But he held on to his senses and pushed on, being there to help Keira when she needed it.

As they grabbed walkie talkies Kami stood watch. Time seemed vitrually endless. Everything passed by seconds or minutes but it felt like hours or days.
Everything and everyone is a hazard. Kami thought. Everyone needs to be on guard. Everything seemed so slow! He looked at the two. Mitsu and Keria were smiling.
Look at them... Kami thought. Love... Kami said and sighed quietly.
As they grabbed the walkie talkies they began walking past the metal work station. Kami popped in quickly and grabbed a gas operated blow torch and a nail gun or two. Kami noticed that there was a gas burner, originally used for boiling beakers and whatnot.
Which person brought this to metal and wood working area? he thought. However he didn't care
It could be used for heating food or cooking/boiling water. Kami returned to the others with a few small gas canisters for the nailguns, blow torch and burner. "Lead the way to the dojo Keria." Kami said

Keira held Mitsu's hand tightly. She didn't let go until they got the walkie talkies. Things had grown quiet. There was blood splattered everywhere. It was quite a sight. Keira shivered slightly though she kept a straight face.
They walked through the halls quietly. When they passed the foods hall, Keira quickly ran into one of the cooking classrooms. She opened a drawer full of butcher knives. There she put about three knives in her book bag. She dumped out her schoolwork. She wouldn't be needing those things anymore.
She kept a few things like bandaids from her purse though. In case she needed it later. She also added some food packages to he bags. If they rationed their food then it would last at least two days. She stuffed everything into her bag and put it back on her shoulders.
Keira was about to leave when the teacher, now a zombie came after her. She came slow but Keira had a plan. She backed herself up against a gas stove and turned all the burners on. Then as the teacher came at her Keira sidestepped and kicked the zombie teacher onto the stove. She screached and was set on fire. It seemed zombies burned pretty well.
Keira hit the zombie on the head for good measure. Though it seemed fire killed them too. Keira then ran with the boys as she led the way to the dojo. They only ran into a few zombies though they took them out easily, one at a time. They were finally outside and ran across the grass towards the dojo.

Kami and Keira made their own stops along the way, and they took turns guarding. They only killed zombies that got in the way, and the ones that heard them and went after. But they fell to the floor, dead for good. There were a few moments where they were nearly bitten, but they all either avoided or protected one another during so. Mitsu asked Keira for a knife or two that she nabbed from the cooking class. She handed two over, and into his duffel they went.
Kami asked Keira to lead the way, and Mitsu gave her a approving nod with a slight smile, letting her know that he trusted her to lead them. As she went off the other two followed through the small crowds of zombies, making sure to be quiet or tossing something down another hall to make noise. They got to the Dojo and looked around. There were still no zombies to be found here, so they grabbed the wooden katanas, Mitsu put one in his bag and another on his belt loop. He looked over and there was a katana and it's sheath on display. "Hey guys, looks like we got lucky!" Mitsu grabbed the katana and sheath, placing one inside the other for protection. Mitsu tied the seemingly new rope to his belt at his side. He had the feeling that he was kind of a badass with the katana on his side. He imagined himself in a heroic pose for a moment and then they moved on to the paring lot.
Luckily, the teachers report early to the school, so their section of the parking lot was empty. "It isn't too hard to hot wire one of these, but we should get both going at the same time. they will make a lot of noise when started, so we will need to get out of here quickly. Kami, you get the bullet bike, its too small for two people to ride. We will have to take Mr. Yomi's. You also know the way, Kami, so I will follow you, and try to take the most direct path. Lucky for us I grabbed some tools from the shop earlier just for this. Kami, you know how to hotwire the bikes too right? Get working on it now and we start them at the same time."
They got to work and were soon ready. Mitsu nodded to Kami when everything was set, Keira sitting on the bike with her things already. They started the bikes and sure enough to Mitsu's prediction, zombies could be heard. Kami revved the engine and they took off for the construction building.

New RP The school was positively deserted, except for the human and zombie bodies strewn around in hallways and classrooms. Blood covered the walls, and it was an all around gruesome sight. They were making their way to the dojo and the communications room, which were near each other. The bus driver had come with them, as being in a larger group was probably a lot safer than going alone. They passed by one, two, three rooms littered with bodies, no living people to be found. They passed a fourth room, and heard heavy breathing inside. Hopeful that it was another living person, they look a quick look inside. They didn't see him till he stood up, about 3 feet to their left, leaning over a dead body. He turned to them, blood running over him face and down the front of his shirt, soaking him in it and trembling. "They...........they............help.............." His voice was weak and trembling, and he had bite marks all along both of his arms. He made a terrible retching noise as he coughed up blood and his eyes clouded over and became that of a dead thing. He lunged at them, Kuro pulling Mizuki into him and out of the zombie's path, leaving the bus driver vulnerable. He screamed as the newly changed boy jumped on him, teeth at his neck, ripping his throat out with a horrible, wet gurgling sound. Mizuki made a choking noise, and held up her sword to the zombie boy. he lunged at them, and she brought the wooden sword down hard on the top of his head, creating a large, bloody crater as he went limp and died for good. She walked over to the now waking bus driver, and rammed her sword through his eye, killing him for good as well. "Let's get out of here before any more of them show up." she said, deciding she'd had enough excitement for the time being. She grabbed Kuro's hand and ran into the hallways and all the way down to the last door: the communications room. They walked in and she let go of his hand, walking over to where a bunch of school supplies had been dumped onto the floor. She found a pair of walkie talkies and a canvas bag hidden under a desk. She put the walkie talkies in the bag, along with some snacks she found in a drawer as she dumped things out. She found a penknife, two razor pens, and a pack of spare batteries and a mini satellite thing. stashing all of these in the canvas bag and giving Kuro the penknife, they ran out to the dojo where she grabbed another wooden sword and a couple of chest pieces and towels and blankets from the equipment room. "Grab anything else you may want from here, we have to keep moving. Lets head up to the roof of the building and barricade the door from there until we can find a better place to hide." she said to him, walking brusquely over to Kuro.

Matsuri watched as the school erupted into pandemic. What's going on? Matsuri thought to herself as she seen people kicking and punching each other. Matsuri reached into her desk and brought out the small sheath with the Hunting Knife in it. She kept it hidden because teachers thought that with all her military training she might kill someone. However Matsuri was better than that.
Matsuri was indeed a girl. She like cute things, thinking of boys...especually a certain someone. She wore girl clothing and flirted and teased boys and had fun with her female friends.
But at the same time she wasn't afraid to paly sports or get down and dirty. She played video games, ate junk food...and suprisingly kept her figure. She wasn't a tom boy nor a girly girl. Just somewhere inbetween.
As people began to leave hurriedly, Matsuri remained calm and moved away from highly crowded places. The less fighting she did the more energy she had to fight or run when it came right to the bone. Her mother and sister made sure she was always active and ready for anything. Her life sucked that way.
Matsuri kept looking for other survivors for hours. She didn't see alot of 'Them' around though.
"Weird...you'd think there'd be alot of 'Them' around." she said to herself. Suddenly she came face to face with one almost. She gasped and got into a position ready to kill but realized something. It hadn't seen her. Matsuri was confused and moved aside as she watched the guy leave slowly.
It seems their eye sight is none or extremely low. However if if they are blind then lightly their hearing has increased. Matsuri thought as she thought of looking for some supplies. She went to the dojo to hear talking. Matsuri's body tensed as she gripped her Hunting Knife and opened the door slowly. "Hello?" Matsuri called softly, but loud enough for normal ears to pick up. "Anyone here?!"
